AffirmYou_06: Endurance

 



9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 

10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 

11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 

12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12


I feel I need to say this. Somebody still didn't understand it:

We quote Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 

It's an acknowledgement that there's death, fear, evil out there. Jesus acknowledged there's tribulation out there and He said, but be of good cheer, He's overcome the world. He spoke this that we may have peace in Him.
He said, He's sent us like sheeps among wolves, and He said chill am with you always to the end of the world. And David then says Yes Lord, though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death, I am not fearing anything. Why? Coz YOU’RE WITH ME as you said. 

Wait, God does not make your life simple🙂You still will walk in the valley of death, evil. Someone is still gonna disappoint you, is still gonna break your heart, is still gonna lie on you, is still gonna cheat on you. But He's saying: though you walk in that, I AM WITH YOU, you gonna make it buddy....
You gonna come out of that fire refined, He's God and everything that He walks with becomes gold...there is trouble in the world, and He's there in the trouble with you. To do what? Strengthen you that you may have great *endurance* and patience. Christianity ain't simple, so, God ain't saying you gonna have a simple life, all He's saying is that the endurance He produces in us will take us to the end of the tunnel.

Now you need to hear this: the good your partner is, the more the problem you will face. Realise that favour comes with it battle.
You must be joking to think the devil is gonna clap hands that you have a good man or woman. She’s not going to make your life simple, she comes with enemies following her. That's why you need to upgrade your warfare to guard the good you have received.

No man and woman is ever gonna make your life simple. But because they're the good from God, they are partners that fight for you, walk with you, fight with you and come out with you in the battles. They give you confidence and endurance to walk on. If you ever find these kinda people, hold their hands tightly🫂

You two are together that you be there for each other.

Either you gotta maintain or raise your standard. By literal definition, a standard is a state of excellence or quality. Excellence never is without what guides its being. Thus, a standard is further defined as a set of rules, pattern or principles agreed upon. It is this set of rules that produce excellence or quality when followed through.
