FINANCIAL HEALTH

Part 1:

 Introduction

Well, I wanted to say something else today but I have been withheld from saying it yet. Instead today let's talk money. Today I was meditating on money and I was graced to write down something.

Now, the question might be, are you financially healthy yourself that you want to share something in that context? What do you understand? Well, by fact I am not and I understand nothing about that context. That's why I won't be the one speaking. The prophetic me, the future me will do the speaking coz oooh yeeees am rich, am financially healthy, glory to God.

Shall we? In this world we live, money is good. Following the history of money, money has come to be the standard medium through which life is governed. Today, life is sweet with good foods; the body needs shiny coverage, good clothes; sleeping is comfortable on a soft good bed; it is everyone’s desire to drive fancy cars; who doesn’t want to go get education and one time be called a professor? But all these need money, true? Maybe, but the issue on ground is that money is needed, period.

In our homes, we tell kids to work hard in school, they should do well so that at the end of the day they should get to a better place. How? Probably, they shall have a good job which means money and equal to good life. Most of us have grown under such inspiration and if we ask one another why we are going to school, a good number will say to have a good life, have money. Money has just become the shadow that we are chasing after.

Now, in this world we have two groups of people: 1. Those who work for money; and 2. Those whom money works for. Let's just understand that money is both a servant and a master. It can serve as well as lead. To some people, money serves them and yet to some, money leads them.

Some of us we cannot do without money, which is an error. We should do without money; it is money that should not do without us.

In brief, most people go to work or are doing businesses because they have bills to pay, they have a family to feed, dress and educate...if they don't work or trade, it means no money for all the to-do list. So, they either go for a high paying job or change business strategies, but heeey a bigger income means a better spending power. Needs increase with an increase in income. In short, you keep revolving in the same spot, working for money, you're working to get money, simple. Do you know why you cannot quit that job even if you don't like the terms and conditions? You know if you do, life is gonna struggle. Working for money.

You're still on that job coz they have what you need, money. On the employer's side, money is working for them. They have bills to pay and everything, but money is making money, the money that you're making for them actually, to pay their bills. Their money is able to use skills that they don't have: you; their money is able to use intelligence they don't have: you. We talk of business people, their money is able to attract money from our pockets; their money is able to work and produce money for them while they are seated.

Come on, this is the kind of life we need to live, where we can sit relaxed and have money working for us, have money paying our bills, have money buying us things. For a few days, let's share a few laws of financial health in this life, laws that can loosen the peace when it comes to money, laws that can bring money into subjection. Come on, as good as you are, you can't live life serving money, nooo, you're better than that. Money is meant to serve.

See you later on when we will be talking on the laws.
