FINANCIAL HEALTH (Final)

Final Part 6:

Laws of Financial Health

    5.      Law of Survival

There are two stages in most aspects of life that demands attention: the start of life and survival of life. It’s not easy to be born and neither is it to actually sustain that life. It’s one thing to get your finances moving, and it’s another thing to maintain the movement. Most people have had the chance of financial health but failed to sustain it.

Financial health demands that you apply the law of survival if you wanna keep living a financial stress-free life. The law of survival seeks to sustain your finances. They say it is normal to fall, get up and walk again, but it’s also normal to get up, walk and never fall again. The latter is what we should normalize as our financial lifestyle, get on board and keep sailing. Risks and uncertainties are there yes but we are saying you can keep excelling as if these have never been there. You can live a life that people should say, how have you kept standing?

The law of survival cannot be talked of without talking of the other laws. In other words, we have already been talking of this law all along. If you want to keep money in your hand, then do not love money. If you love money, money will keep you in its hand and surviving your finances will be by dragging. For what we have already been talking about, the law of survival says that when you get, keep doing what made you get what you got. Hey, you might become a millionaire but the moment you stop doing what got you there, that’s your fall.

How do I survive my financial health? Simple, keep your source, keep doing it, keep humility and keep positive.

a.      Keep your source

To sustain your finances, know the source that got you where you are: know your methods. Today, let me emphasize your source and I urge you to be faithful to this source.

4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. 7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

John 15:4, 7 (NLT)

All the laws I have shared with you are not outside God. People go by different methods to financial health, but God is the one method that never fails. Recognise that God is the source of the methods I have shared with you. The world has its own but people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits (finances inclusive). Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Finances is not a problem if God is your first. God has to make you a blessing for you to attract finances. It’s until you are blessed that you can be like Isaac who still reaped abundantly amidst famine. Without you being a blessing, I challenge you if finances are ever gonna work for you. Don’t go after money, go after God and all these will not be an issue. Keep God as your source and He will keep your finances flowing.

You must be able to recognise the season that you are in. If you happen to miss your financial season, then you have missed it. May God help you make use of your season. Trust the process, it has God in it.

b.     Keep doing it

Is God your source? Then, keep your doors of finances open: keep tithing; keep giving abundantly cheerfully and you shall keep receiving abundantly; keep keeping aside some finances for future use: keep saving; save better by keeping putting your money to work, keep investing in assets (knowledge, ideas, get a new skill), invest in people: do more and keep increasing your finances. Keep doing what you did and that’s how you sustain your financial health.

c.      Keep humility

It takes humility to trust God and involve Him in your finance dealings. It takes humility to keep doing all these laws that we have shared to this very far. You may not like this one but am not here to impress you either, so, you are proud if you don’t tithe, give, save or put your resources to work. You are proud if you don’t know God as your source. It is written that God exalts the humble and despise the proud. Humble yourself to trust God for your dealings. Know God and He shall sustain you financially.

d.     Keep positive

One thing that you might want to keep with you is your words. Watch your words for they are your success or failure. Keep your words positive at all time. I said this earlier on, be able to see life where others are not seeing it. Life is what you should speak despite what comes forth. Everyday tell yourself you’re financially healthy. You got money in your pocket or not, say you are rich. Is the work or business working or not, say you are rich. They are saying you are not gonna make it, tell them you know your source always makes it and therefore, you have made it!!! Just keep it positive. Your God works with positivity. Negativity can hinder Him from exalting and sustaining you. He hates it that much. He loves it when you say Yes Lord, my things are working. Do not make the words of God of no effect by how you speak. Confess positivity.

This is where we part on this talk Fam. It’s been amazing sharing all this, I have been learning together with you. Am really grateful that you have been there and trusting all these things I have shared with you. Just a word before I close: what I have shared with you is not everything. There are so many things we can learn if we try to go broader with the laws we have looked at. But I believe I have shared basic laws that covers lots of principles that we can go by. Remember who is your source, He’s made the secrets of finances available in the Bible. He’s hidden nothing from us about any topic. The only problem is we don’t know, so, we perish. Otherwise, put these laws to work and be financially healthy.

Stay blessed...
