Why Not the Right Person But Candidate?

Image
Why Not the Right Person But Candidate?   In the morning today I woke up with this sense of lack of synchronization, like I felt like somebody still didn’t get what we shared in the last post Develop the One You Accept , like somebody has a question. So I asked, “God, why the right candidate and not the right person? I mean, I know if you want you can just provide the right person entirely.” Yeah I tried to answer this question in the last post but let’s clear it up a bit and am hoping the one with the question you are being answered as you study this further, please read within the lines. This is how I can relay the response I got: He reminded me of Moses and Joshua. These two men were all leaders of Israel. I repeat, leaders of Israel. Joshua succeeded Moses, and these two men all had their own issues before stepping into the role. When God showed up to Moses, Moses had his own excuses not to take up the role but in summary God was like “Who makes humans what they ar...

Develop The One You Accept

Image
Probably wondering, what is this guy doing in the picture? Well, he seems he's got issues with his roof and he's trying to fix it. He loves his home, right? Big time yes.   Develop The One You Accept So hie, I have been meaning to say something pertaining to what I shared a couple of days ago. I remember saying it is important that we embrace our seasons or risk missing it. The right season comes with right things in it including a person. The season might breathe you a person who would require your effort to bring out the best out of them. Now I further said, you can only bring out the best out of the person you have if you accept them for who and what they are. Coz people we  transform in a place of belonging. May I take it from here: we are all looking for the right person and I said yes the right person exists not anywhere else but in the right season. I want to dissect a bit the term right person. You are the one who has the picture of how your right person looks like...

Live Your Season

Image
Hie, may I serve to remind you something:  Today is the first and the last day of today; Today is a brand new day and at the same time it is the only day like this that you will ever encounter in your entire life. It comes once, you won't have another 16th October 2022. And so are some things in your life, they come once. Once their season is gone, it be past tense. #Live your season   (King James Bible) He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. (New International Version) He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes 3:11 Read this verse again, pay ...

Acceptance

Image
I saw this picture and it began speaking something to me, like see how the man and the dog are different from each other and yet they are embracing each other into each other.                                         #Acceptance is rare Acceptance Accepting someone for who and what they are is different from accepting someone for who and what you feel them to be. Coz what you feel is not always what is. Yeah yeah emotions are one point of honesty that can guide you, but at the same time emotions are one point of a lie that can mislead you. The driver of your emotions speaks a lot of what your emotions really are. Acceptance is a need for every person. The funny thing is, acceptance begins way before you're born, before you're completely formed in your mother's womb. There's a point of acceptance that happens when a mother finds out that she's ...

Differences Matter

Image
Differences Matter   God give me someone who I can think alike with, someone who can see the same as me, someone who has values like me, someone I can agree with, someone I can walk with; have you ever offered a prayer like this? I mean it’s a wonderful prayer. Actually, if you have ever hurt someone because you cannot agree on something, you can understand the need to have someone with the same lens as you. From a young age I have grown up seeing and feeling the trauma of differences in people who are trying to be together.  So, I learnt to believe it’s nice to have someone who is your other version, someone who is the bone of your bones, the flesh of your flesh, someone who you can see yourself in. I too have trusted God for such. I told God to help me be a version someone would like to have, a version someone can walk with, a version someone can see herself and themselves in. But I recently was just thinking a lot over this kind of request. Early tonight I was li...

The Unspoken Word

The Unspoken Word   Years from now, sitting next to you  somewhere in the world, I will say to you:  Remember when you were 18? I do And I remember on that day on that chat on that night telling you  I'd always be there you But looking back on my words, that's one thing I couldn't do But I know what I did, At the very edge of your 18, I saw you Am sorry that it took me long to see you and then find you Am sorry I had to let you be the first Coz later in the journey you told me that I don't know what it took you to say hi first I have to find out about that, but I thank God you said hi You said high and I saw you high   And remember when you were 19? I do, and let me remind you At 19, we friended a lot more We talked a lot more, we saw each other a lot more and we smiled a lot more I began missing you a lot more, but I didn't tell you a lot more Almost everything was a lot more With a lot more progressing, so was a lot...

Peace in the Piece

Image
Peace in the Piece Dear Wife done by Clayton Jennings, out of all the pieces I listen to done by Clayton, I have listened to this piece a lot last year but since yesterday, I felt I have grown to listen to it with a new ear. The honesty I got to see in this piece has just been one of the things that got me reflect on my life, only to find out that yeah...truth in this. The first time I listened to this piece, I loved it and I was inspired to write my heart out in what I call The Unspoken Word. I will share later on but let's listen to Clayton first. Sometimes, just sit back and remember the times before today. It's energy in those times. I hope you will enjoy the piece!!! Dear Wife by Clayton Jennings Remember when we were thirteen? I do And I remember telling you on the bus that I was gonna marry you Do you ever think back on those days? I rarely do 'Cause when I do, I think about all the bad times that came after more than I care to I remember all the times I made you ...
